The 4th of October turned out to be a busy and exciting night
for MediaCom USA, as the agency took home awards at both the IAB
MIXX Awards and the International ECHO Awards.
The seventh annual IAB MIXX Awards, held in New York, recognizes
the year's best in international interactive advertising. The
International ECHO Awards, organized by the Direct Marketing
Association (DMA) and held in Boston, honours the world's top
direct marketing campaigns.
Our VW search team added to its growing collection of accolades
for its Super Bowl search campaign. The campaign received the
prestigious ECHO Search Marketing Award, which is selected as the
best from all search marketing entries by the DMA Search Engine
Marketing Committee and the ECHO Committee.
The VW campaign also received a Silver MIXX Award in the Search
Marketing Campaign category. Prior to last night, it had already
received an OMMA Award and two American Business Awards.
Our Dell team was also recognized at both events, being named an
ECHO Leader for its behavioral targeting efforts and was a finalist
at the MIXX Awards in the Business-to-Business category for their
"Take Your Own Path" campaign.
